Good morning! It's Writing Wednesday - my favourite day of the week!

Today we're going to focus again on story writing but this time i'm going to give you some options for your starter.
Here are six sentences for you to choose from, pick one and use this to start off your story.

1. His torso was covered in debris as he tried to ...
2. I'm an old man marooned on a desert island where my powers are useless...
3. Once upon a time in the land of 'Never Forget' lived...
4. The water thundered through my ears as I tumbed through the waves ...
5.Trudging through the desert sands I had an illusion...
6. It was a lovely moonlit night...

Choose any of the starters above and let your imagination run wild! Take time to think about your ideas - you might want to jot down a plan or talk it through with someone. When you are ready, write your story!

Remember to think about the skills you have learned when writing character and setting descriptions - use your five senses to help you write descriptions.
Cannot wait to see what you come up with!

Extension task - for a little bit of fun!

Have a go at saying these tongue twisters!

1.Santa's sleigh slides on slick snow
2.Ten tiny trains toot ten times
3. purple paper people, purple paper people, purple paper people..
4.Bobby brings bright bells
5. She sells seashells on the sea shore
6. Bubble bobble, bubble bobble, bubble bobble

Which one was the trickiest? Which one was the easiest?
Can you come up with a tongue twister of your own?
