Today, we are going to continue learning about budgets and spending. Remember that a budget is an amount set to prevent overspending and help you to manage your money. Budgeting is all about balancing the money coming in and going out of your account. Ideally, you want to be able to save some money each money too.
Task 1 – topic maths
Your task today is to complete one of the budget chilli challenges. Make sure that you pick the one you think is a challenge for you. In the second and third chilli challenge, you are asked to fill in parts of the budget from the information given. Make sure that you read all of in the information carefully and show your working. If you can’t print this sheet out you can write down your answers on paper or in your jotter.
Remember that income is money coming in to your account (this is most likely to be a pay from a job), expenses or expenditure are things you need to pay for, for instance, food, energy bills and petrol.
