Good morning P6/7,
Thank you for sending me examples of your work each day – it really helps me to see how you are getting on and if I need to add anything else in to help you. Yesterday’s maths was a bit different – I hope you enjoyed learning more about money and budgets.
Have a lovely day! Miss you lots!
Mrs Muir 😊
Today is Topic Tuesday! We are going to be learning more about Buddhism today. We will be learning more about the story of the Buddha and how he lived. We will also be thinking about the wheel of dharma – a vital part of the Buddhist religion.
Task 1
Open ‘The Story of the Buddha’ and read each slide carefully. Then, you are going to create a storyboard or comic strip all about the Buddha and his life. I have shared a couple of storyboards with you but feel free to create your own on paper or in your jotter. I am looking forward to seeing these!
Task 2
Pick one of the ‘Wheel of Dharma’ comprehension activities (in the next app message) – there are three different levels to choose from. Make sure that you answer the questions fully and with as much detail as you can. If you can’t print out the sheets you need, don’t worry, you can just complete the work on paper or in your jotter.
Afternoon Learning
You could use this afternoon’s learning time to continue your personal project about Buddhism.
Make your own wheel of dharma. You can choose how you make it – you could draw it, paint it or make it from paper crafts.
Try out some animal origami – this is saved in files or on the app.
Extras
Today’s puzzle – These muddled up letters can be arranged to spell which fruit? B R A N C Y E R R
*The answer to yesterday’s brainteaser – geography!
A joke for this morning –
Why do you never see elephants hiding up trees?
They are really good at it!
