Hello P6/7,

It has been a busy week so far. P7s – I hope you had a super visit to Auchmuty and enjoyed finding out more about it all.

Remember to ask if you are unsure about anything, I’ll be on Teams and email throughout the day.

Have a great Wednesday!

Mrs Muir

Group 3
Today, we are going to start a short block of work on time. This is a life skill and it is always helpful to be able to tell the time quickly and accurately.

Task 1a – topic maths
Your first task today is to complete the ‘clocks warm up’ task. This will remind you about how to tell the time on an analogue (clock face) and digital clock (like a phone or electric alarm clock). You will need to match up the time in numbers, the analogue face and the digital clock – think carefully!

Task 1b – topic maths
Your next task – ‘p37-39’ looks at am and pm time. Remember that ‘am’ time runs from midnight to noon (around lunchtime) and ‘pm’ runs from noon until midnight. To keep it simple, am is a morning time and pm is an afternoon time. Remember that your answers here will usually need ‘am’ or ‘pm’ after the time, for example 3.30pm.
