Good morning Primary 2 ๐Ÿ˜Š

I hope you all had a good day yesterday and managed to enjoy the sunshine!!

Over the next two weeks we will now be focusing on revision and a little bit of assessment. It has been a long time since we were in the classroom now so please do not worry if you have forgotten things or are unsure. If things get tricky, then take a little break and try again๐Ÿ˜Š

Today’s tasks

Literacy – We are learning to understand, analyse and evaluate what we have read. All your tasks are on Education City today. These are deliberately sequenced as it gets a little bit trickier as you go. There is no pressure to complete all of these tasks today as they can take a little longer than usual. Do what you can ๐Ÿ˜Š

Numeracy – We are learning about the value of numbers. You have a worksheet on Seesaw to complete. Please do this independently. You could also practise counting forwards and backwards from any given number (more information on Seesaw) – you could do this orally, or practise writing numbers. Could you use chalk outside or a wet paintbrush?

*Note to parents*

If your child is finding anything particularly easy or difficult please let me know and I can do my best to adjust and support them. But also, please don’t worry!! It has been a long time since we’ve been in our classroom environment, we will all have forgotten things. Me included!laugh

Have a fantastic day – let’s hope the sun keeps shining!
